Biographical Note
Don Saco's life
has spanned two careers:
sculptor and clinical
psychologist. While clay is
more malleable than the human
psyche, working creatively with
either is challenging and
demanding, at times frustrating,
yet always rewarding.
His creative
source draws upon insight,
observation, and projection. The
movement and vitality of his
bronzes express attitudes and
emotions of an inner life that
may be in conflict or at peace.
There are no empty gestures. The
themes, whether contemporary,
religious or mythical, reflect
universal truths and forces
within.
